Since 2017, SiCRED has been collaborating with QBE Re in reinsuring some of the largest written risks. QBE insurance group was founded in 1886 and quickly launched offices in Europe, America and Asia. QBE is one of the top 20 insurers and reinsurers globally.

QBE Re (Europe) Limited provides reinsurance services worldwide. It offers property, casualty, specialty, and life reinsurance services. Life services and underwriting is done through QBE Re Brussels Office. QBE acquired Brussels office (previously named Secura Re) in 2010. This office was founded in 1946.

Up to end 2018, the QBE European Operations division was based in London. Due to the Brexit, QBE decided to create a new European division based in Brussels. QBE Re (Europe) Limited became a subsidiary of the QBE Europe SA/NV company as from 01.01.2019.

AHJ is an FCA regulated firm specialising in all forms of Marine and Non-Marine Reinsurance as well as Specialist Wholesale Direct Insurance. AHJ remains 100% privately owned with the majority of shares held by management and employees, both past and present. The absence of external shareholders enables better market cycle management whilst maintaining levels of Client service, and the ability to invest in the future.

From July 2020, AHJ is a reinsurance broker for SiCRED sh.a., intermediating the reinsurance of large risks.
