On 22 and 23 April 2016, for the second consecutive year, it was held the annual conference of the Albanian Trauma Association at the premises of Tirana International Hotel & Conference Center. Participants at the conference were the Minister of Health Mr. Ilir Beqaj, Trauma Hospital physicians, Surgeons, Orthopedics, Intensive Care Physicians, Emergency Doctors, and guests from abroad.
Among the suggestions and requirements set forth in the proceedings of this conference, were the opening of a branch study of trauma at the University of Medicine and increasing funding and improving conditions and infrastructure in the Trauma Hospital, as key factors that will lead to further development of this lifesaving service.
Appreciating the irreplaceable role of trauma service in the health system, this year SiCRED, supported the organization of this conference, under the quality of “Silver Sponsor”.
