As part of the 7th edition of \u201cGiving Circles Albania,\u201d<\/strong> organized by Partners Albania<\/strong>, SiCRED joined another inspiring initiative that brings attention to the voices of those who are too often unheard \u2014 people with disabilities.<\/p>\n In the city of Mat,<\/strong> over 800 people with disabilities<\/strong> face daily challenges that often go unnoticed. To give voice and space to their stories, the \u201cTogether\u201d Foundation<\/strong> created the project \u201cThe Listening Bench\u201d<\/strong>, a unique intervention in the city\u2019s public spaces. <\/p>\n This initiative turns ordinary benches into places that speak<\/strong>, through QR<\/strong> codes placed on them, where citizens can listen to real stories of people with disabilities \u2014 stories that inspire, raise awareness, and build bridges of understanding within the community.<\/p>\n By combining technology with urban design, \u201cThe Listening Bench\u201d <\/strong>becomes a powerful tool for education and awareness about accessibility and social inclusion<\/strong>.
